Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sanctuary mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sanctuary is a Christian devotional app that provides daily devotionals, Bible reading, prayer tools, AI-assisted spiritual content, audio content, community prayer features, and related functionality. The App is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial spiritual growth.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. User Content

You may create and share content through the App, including prayer requests, prayer wall posts, and group messages. By posting content:

• You grant us a limited license to display and distribute your content within the App
• You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights
• You retain ownership of your content

5. Community Guidelines

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post content that is hateful, harassing, abusive, or threatening
• Post content that is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Spam, solicit, or advertise to other users
• Share misinformation or content intended to deceive
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Plans

Sanctuary offers a premium subscription ("Sanctuary Premium") with the following options:

• Monthly: $5.99/month
• Annual: $39.99/year

Billing

• Payment is processed through your Apple ID / App Store account
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

Refunds

All purchases and subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

7. AI-Generated Content

The App includes AI-powered features such as chat and prayer generation. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is produced by language models and may not always be theologically accurate or appropriate
• AI content is meant to supplement, not replace, pastoral counsel, biblical study, or personal prayer
• You should use discernment and consult trusted spiritual advisors for important matters
• We are not responsible for the theological accuracy of AI-generated content

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and original content are owned by Sanctuary and protected by intellectual property laws. The King James Version (KJV) Bible text used in the App is in the public domain.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SANCTUARY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
